Cost: $350.00 (includes all materials) Join us for a hands-on, creative jewelry-making course where you’ll learn essential skills in Metalsmithing. This 2 day workshop class meets for 8 hours each day and is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to expand their skills in metalsmithing. What You’ll Learn Throughout this course, you’ll explore foundational and advanced techniques including: • Safety and Handling Procedures
 • Metal Techniques: measuring, cutting, soldering,sanding.
 • Assembly: Working with solder or paste, pickling.
 • Firing Methods: Using a torch, knowing the torch your handling.
 • Finishing: Tumbling, polishing, and professional finishing techniques
 • Jewelry Design Concepts: Creating a bezel to fit a stone. Soldering the bezel at the join. Fluxing and pickle when and how it is used. Assembling metal sheet and wire.
 Projects You’ll Complete 1. Pendant with choice of stone set in a bezel.
