Cost: $350.00 Supplies included. Join us for a hands-on, creative jewelry-making course where you’ll learn how to create textured ring with metal clay, wire and a cultured Opal. Thus class meets once a week for 3 hours and is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to expand their skills in metal clay artistry. What You’ll Learn Throughout this course, you’ll explore basic skills in designing a pendant in metal clay. • Safety and Handling Procedures
 • Clay Techniques: Rolling, cutting, conditioning, lubrication
 • Textures & Molds: Using different textures.
 • Assembly: Working with dry and wet clay, refining & sanding
 • Firing Methods: Torch firing
 • Finishing: Tumbling, polishing, and professional finishing techniques
 • Jewelry Design Concepts: Using wire or ring band with metal clay, texture, shrinkage , setting gemstones.
 Project you will Complete 1. A ring with gemstone setting. All materials and supplies needed for this project are included in your class fee. If you choose to make additional pieces, extra clay will be available for purchase. • Some projects may require kiln firing and cooling time, so pieces might need to be picked up later that day or the next.
