Cost: $185 (includes all materials for 4 projects) Join us for a hands-on, creative jewelry-making course where you’ll learn essential techniques in working with metal clay. This 4-week class meets once a week for 2 hours and is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to expand their skills in metal clay artistry. What You’ll Learn Throughout this course, you’ll explore foundational and advanced techniques including: • Safety and Handling Procedures
 • Clay Techniques: Rolling, cutting, conditioning, lubrication
 • Textures & Molds: Using different textures, creating molds
 • Assembly: Working with dry and wet clay, refining & sanding
 • Firing Methods: Torch and kiln firing, understanding clay types, timing, and temperatures
 • Finishing: Tumbling, polishing, and professional finishing techniques
 • Jewelry Design Concepts: Using coils, bails, texture, shrinkage, gemstone settings, and rehydration techniques
 Projects You’ll Complete 1. Textured Earrings
 2. Pendant or Earrings using a Mold
 3. Earrings or Pendant with a Set Gemstone
 4. Design-Your-Own Jewelry Project using techniques learned in class
 All materials and supplies needed for the four main projects are included in your class fee. If you choose to make additional pieces, extra clay will be available for purchase. Additional Info • Some projects may require kiln firing and cooling time, so pieces might need to be picked up later that day or the next.
